4 months old!!!!

Grace is now 4 months old! She is such a big girl. While I’m so excited to see her doing new things and gaining more of a personality everyday, it makes me so sad. The last four months have gone by way to fast.



Her 4-month appointment didn’t go so well though. She didn’t get her shots because of being sick last week, and while last week her ears were perfect, this week she has a double ear infection. So we have yet another appointment 2 weeks from now to get all her shots. However, there was good news. Or so we thought. Dr. Reed said we could start rice cereal. Hooray! The whole spoon thing didn’t turn out to be Grace’s cup of tea. I was more worried about the mess but that didn’t come close to all the crying. I felt so bad. All she wanted was her bottle. We went for a second round tonight, which went a little better. I held her and let her have the pacifier in between bites, while Daddy fed her. I’m not really sure if the pacifier thing was a good idea, but it made her happier, and when Grace is happy, Mommy and Daddy are happy. We’ll try to phase it out after a few days, and hopefully move into happy baby spoon feedings.
