The Little Mermaid

A couple weeks ago we bought Grace her first pool, but because of her ear infections and us not feeling well last weekend we had to wait. So this past Saturday we decided to give it a try. We took turns popping blood vessels and almost giving ourselves coronaries while blowing up her pool. We have since bought an air compressor. Then it was time for Grace to get in. She loved her bathing suit, which was a good thing because it’s almost impossible to find one to fit a 4 1/2 month old.


She was also excited to get outside. She loves to spend time in the fresh air.

At first she wasn’t sure about getting in the water; it’s quite different than bath time.


We brought her pink ducky with us and she was rather impressed but how it swam around all on it’s own, but I think she was more interested in eating it.

After a few minutes she seemed to be having a good time.



We put her belly down and let her decide if she wanted to put her face in water. She put her mouth in it a couple times, and seemed to like it, but then again she puts everything in her mouth now.


Just as a side note, my money’s with pampers. I couldn’t believe how much liquid that diaper could hold!
